Keeping warm

If you take a hot water bottle, most of the vans will let you fill it up with their boiling water from the coffee machines.

The Thursday night of last year was the coldest I have ever been in a tent.

Also is the weather is nice, sunburn makes you feel really cold inside sleeping bags so for other obviouse reasons take loads of sun cream.

Also if you are sitting outside your tent keep as many layers of clothes off as you feel comfortable with and only put the extra layers of clothes on when you get isndie your tent.

Another stupid thing is the air isnide those blue inflatable airbeds gets cold so keep the bedrrom compartment closed and out a sheet on the air bed before you get on with your sleeping bag, the thinner harder air beds from Argos have less air inside and keep you warmer

Yeah Bek but seeing as my list of essentials also includes fairy lights, muscial instruments, pims and champagne classes, you can even have your creature comforts in a muddy field.

We took hot water bottles year's ago and used to fill them up with hot water from our own little kettles and stoves but discovered the vans would fill them up for you anyway, you can get away with allot with a decent clevage and a smile as I am sure you have discovered through life
