heavenly271
I asked this in a previous thread and apparently the ground is good, hard and not too muddy. It looks like it has recovered well from last year. I live about 15mins down the road from weston and its been a manky day today but we've had some good weather lately and there predicting a usual v weekend with some rainy bits, some sunny bits and some cloudy bits! heavenly271
Amazingly scientific explaination there hun. Love it. Oooh by the way, the ground may be hard now, but after several thousand people have been trampling all over it and dragging trolleys full of beer across it, I wonder how well it will hold up!? dixie chicks
Did you like that, who needs the weatherman when you've got me! I think it may hold better than last year, last time when we got there it was already a bit muddy from rain the days before so if it can stay hard then it may be slightly better cross fingers
tell
Looking on metcheck it seems we are in for a repeat perfomance of last year, Glorious sunshine friday to get our hopes up sunny skies saturday morning, misleading us ladies that it will be ok to wear our gladiators, turning into cloud in the afternoon and a god almighty downpour on saturday night!! Followed by showers on sunday And more glorious sunshine on munday when its time to pack up and come home. Typical V weather... Guess i'm taking my wellies again

FluffyBeanie
Don't want to jinx things... I have checked 3 different weather websites (Metcheck, The Weather Outlook and uk.weather.com) and all say the weekend will be cloudy with sunny intervals, but there is NO RAIN forecast. I'm cautiously optimistic, but am asking for a collective crossing of fingers from all the e-festers please!!! I will believe it when I see it, and the waterproofs will still be coming with me!
