tickets or wristbands - camoing!?

Theres seems to be some confusion over this. FOr those who are camoing in the red are some companies sending out the wristbands and soem sending out tickets. It seems stargreen are sending out wristbands - how can this work seems to easy to fraud!! What are see tickets sending out?

Stargreen have definately sent out wristbands for the red campsite, no tickets at all.

OK if you guys have your tickets/wristbands from Stargreen, then where the HELL are mine?!! Gosh I wish they would just hurry up!!

if there sending out wristbands I just cant work out how there gonna stop fraudulant entry. With tix they had barcodes etc and then at the exchange staff put the wristbands on. I think thre will be lots of ppl bunking in this way.

I got my wristbands from stargreen today and on the packet they came in says:

"this year we've introduced a new high security wristband. The wristband contains a number of state of the art security features and every wristband will be scanned on entry to the festival."

they have little barcodes on the clip thing

They sent out wristbands in advance for IOW and they had a small barcode on them which they scanned on entry. This was a paper sticker effectively and as they wore off they resulted to the "give it a tug" technique instead!! Initially they replaced the stickers but they gave up as everyone's were useless by the 2nd day. Personally thought it was a good idea, saved you having to queue to get a band then queue to get in each day, it certainly made things quicker
