Any1 traveling on bus from GLasgow?

Hello everyone, 1st Creamfields for me and my mate this year. We're traveling on the bus from Glasgow Buchanan bus station.. Anyone else doing the same?? Im guessing the bus will take around 4-5 hours. Would this be about right?? the bus leaves at 4am, whats the chances of a sleep on the bus?? or is it likely to be a bit of a part bus??

I'm no good at sleeping on buses and have to say I think the chances of sleeping on a bus that leaves Glasgow at 4am to Creamfields will be zero! Maybe you could get some strong sleeping pills?!

Came down on the bus from the bus station last year, have to say i got NO sleep. Come saturday night i was fooked though went back to the tent after fatboy slim.

Doing the same again this year but at least going to try and get some sleep so I can maybe make the most of saturday night x

Driving down on friday afternoon but driving like at a SLOW pace so we dont get to bogged down with the annoyance of driving. So we will be aiming to get near creamfields for like 2 in the morning. Then just sleep in the car!

Thats just it guys... REALY looking forward to the event but im thinking i need to get some sleep before Saturday kicks off. AIm not the best at sleeping on buses but gonna give that a shot. Should that fail, will need to get my head down in the tent which i imagine will be near impossible also... AAArgh, shoulda planned this better. Dont want lack of sleep on the 1st day to ruin the weekend in any way..

Another thing i could do i guess is sleep til like 10pm on Fri night and take it from there....

Last year the people i know that got the happy bus just went stayed up and got fukd up on the bus down... probs not a good idea to be honest though.

If your getting the bus down, you can pitch your tent and get a couple hours in before everything kicks off.

You will b too x-ited though m8, may as well just sleep on the friday before you get the bus, like 6pm- 3am,incase u party through.

the time for national express from Gla to Liv is 6hrs... I presume time from Gla to CFields will be about 6 n half with traffic ques etc.

Does anyone know any different?

Last year me n my mate went to manchester first and got a taxi over first thing in the morning, the people on the bus from glasgow got there before us.

2 weeks to go guyys!
