heavenly271
dont forget you have to carry it in, I'd stick to the airbed as that would be quite a job to carry 2 camping beds in
Angelis
whats wrong with sleeping on the floor, with covers of course.... i say this every year just take a cheap tesco quilt with you!
Mousey_C
This is a festival!! any things nickable, But on the other hand they should be quite easy to spot, not to many places about one's self to hide a camp bed If it cost you more than a tenner then leave it at home and just buy a cheap airbed if you look around you will get a single for just over £5, or even a cheap lilo. If you are supper young, don't need much sleep and can sleep on a board you could even use one of those roll mat thing If you still want to take your campbed then just be friendly with your neighbours & share a can or 2 (no better neighbourhood watch than chums at a festival)
dixie chicks
very good advice....think i may settle with an airbed would a small gas cooker be a good idea???
bekimo
Good thing about disposable bbq's is that you can make a little fire in them. Which is always nice. I have heard rumours of people being told by security to put these out but I've never seen it myself and we always do it. I love airbeds. But I like my creature comforts. My friend once bought an inflatable sofa and inflated just the arm rest part and slept curled in that. He said it was the comfiest nights sleep he had in ages! I did comment he probably drank so much vodka he THOUGHT it was, but he said it was definitely the cusion!!
Lil_miss
we bought cheap swimming pool lilo's for £2... weigh less & take up less room than an airbed and for £2 it won't matter if i leave it there

staffsknot
Foam rollmat, does the job. Not as comfy as an airbed but doesn't take up much room and stops any problems of sleeping on rough ground / gets you off a cold floor. Lil_miss
hehe i know! how much fun - i can use my camping chairs as paddles!!
beLIEveR
Personally I think sleeping on the floor is better that the hassle of bringing the foam rollmats. They really do nothing. Lots of good suggestions here, but if you're going down the route of a duvet it's best to buy one after you've set up. You wouldn't think it, but duvets are a big effort to carry because they're so bulky.
kq300325
Hey.. Airbeds are the best compromise between comfort and ease of carrying..
