Jennyd
This is my first time camping at V (have been before for the day) and wondered if anyone can give me some tips. The main thing I'm worried about is toilets/ showers. I know I sound like a wuss! Do they have showers on the campsites? Or will I be sticking to my wet wipes for 3 days? Also which is the best campsite for somebody how wants to have a few drinks at night but also sleep at some point. Any help appreciated! pebbles1385
The toilets are ok first thing in the morning just after they have been cleaned and showers are around on some campsites but i tihnk they can get really busy again it would be best to use them first thing too. As for campsites the last couple of years we've been on the red one which if i remember correctly was pretty livley but couple of years before that we were on gold and that was pretty tame i managed to get a good few hours in! Hope this and you enjoy camping! Not long to go now!!

staffsknot
Take a towel and shower gel just in case, baby wipes as well for toilet stops and if you can't get a shower. There is a limited supply of hot water and its first come first served but they do their job and I know a couple of girls who thought they were good - but they're festie veterans. Toilets are hit and miss, if they've just been cleaned then no problems but some can get a bit rank, just pot luck. Best to go first thing like people have said. Carry a load of baby wipes and maybe some alcohol gel handwash and you'll be fine though. It's all part of festival roughing it.

katie09
You can get dry shampoo - Baptiste I think its called from Home Bargains! - Sorry credit crunch, its half the price. Also Im taking a hair band (need it by sunday), and a lot of baby wipes, and of course feminine wipes! See you all (If your in green!)
