Best plae to meet people...

Hi all,

I am trying to organise a group of us to go to Glastonbury, however the others in my group are being useless and I fear that I will end up going on my own.

In your opinions where is the best place to meet others to socialise? And do you think going alone would be an odd thing to do?

Would it detract from the Glastonbury experience?

I appreciate any thoughts.

there are loads of people who go alone, my first time i was.

there are a few campsites organised by board members here such as and camp funk, do a search for those.

was huge this year, a lot of the people there arrived on their own.

Possibly wont be called next year btw...but there will be a big unofficial Efest camp somewhere in Pennards no doubt.

I'm also thinking about going on my own. Living so far away, it doesn't really cross anyone's mind here to bother going.

You'll never be alone at Glasto unless you want to be. You don't even need to go to 'organised' meets. Wherever you camp just say hello to your neighbours for a start. They'll probably even help you put up your tent.
