Taking Kids to the V

Hi everyone, I have a question that I,m hoping someone out there may be able to answer.

We (myself, my better half and our two kids aged 10 & 8) are going to the V festival again this year, this being our 5th year. It has always been that kids under 12 years of age are allowed in to the festival free of charge. But a friend of ours has told us that it has been dropped to under 5's.

Does anyone know if this is the case because as there is only one week to go - we have a problem that needs sorting out pretty quickly!!! :)

hiya I dont think I have good news for you

this is from the terms and conditions "Under 5’s will be admitted without a ticket if accompanied by an adult. However due to the nature of festivals you are advised not to bring under 5’s."

and then on the bbc website which was talking about last years V festival I found this "Kids under 16 have to go with an adult AND have a full price ticket, with under fives going free."

so I imagine its something similar this year?

Hi, it's deffo bad news see this of FAQ on V web:

http://www.vfestival.com/community/page/faq

CAN I BRING CHILDREN TO V? Children 5 and under are welcome free of charge and do not need a ticket all other ages are full price. We recommend you do not bring small children to V, there are no child facilities.
