tent issues

I brought a six man tent a long time ago because their was meant to be 4 of us going and we wanted some room

however, 2 of my friends have now backed out and i was wondering if we will still be able to use a 6 man tent,

my friends went to download earlier this year they said you had to have a tent no bigger than the people sleeping in it, so i was wonderin if anyone could tell me if it should be ok

theres 5 of us going and we've got 2man tent each..hope thats not the case

From what I've been told on here and by friends that have gone to V lots, there is no limit on tent size ( or tent police telling you if yours is to big or not ) *but* depending on what time you arrive you may find it hard to pitch a large tent in the area you want to.

I'm going with a group of people - there's 6 of us, divided up into 2 peoples per 4 man tent, so we hope to get there pretty early and make a kind of triangle type thing.

Into the camping area? You can take any drink in as long as it is in a plastic bottle. So will be decanting all our vodka on thursday into 2ltr bottles!

A bit of topic but....does anyone know if there's a camping etc shop there? Hoping to buy a sleeping bag there cuz mine is pants...will take one in the car just in case. I really want a Honcho sleeping bag but its too late to buy one online now

there's several camping shops there. Cosy Camper is outside the arena and there's two that I recall inside along with a good cheap army surplus place that'll probably sell kipping bags too.

I just checked Honchos website. They said they visit some festivals and V is one of them. Maybe you can buy one there instead of getting another one that you don't like. You might get lucky and manage buy one there.
