I didn't actually book them my mate did however I have our confirmation email here in front of me, same as Bianchi, have only got this email which has come from info@vfestival.org which says your transcation was succesfull, dates and our contact details etc.

the only name thats on there is the V Festival logo and we booked them direct through the site www.vfestival.com.

I'll try the post office then, don't know what else to do as theres only email addresses as contacts and no numbers

info@vfestival.org looks a bit dodgy to me, it was one of the sites that was closed down as a scam site....

I've never known anyone be able to buy direct from v festival.com....

check your bank statement and see where the money from your tickets has gone...

I'm really hoping i'm wrong in this but sounds like you might have been scammed.....

Good luck tho!

Advice for ticket scam victims

By Nick Sommerlad on June 23, 2009 12:38 PM in Ticket scams

We are currently hearing from a vast number of victims of online ticket scams.

Many want to know what they do next. Unfortunately we aren't able to reply to everyone individually. So I am re-posting some sound advice from Reg Walker, head of commercial protection at the O2 Arena.

1. First contact your bank or credit card company. If you paid on credit card, you should get a refund. But even if you used a debit card, you might find your account has fraud protection.

2. Check your home insurance. Some have clauses covering fraud protection.

3. Speak to Visa or Mastercard, whichever firm issued your card. They might be able to help.

4. Report the matter to the police. Don't let them tell you it is a "civil matter", it's not.

5. Once you have a crime reference number from the police, complain to Consumer direct on 08454 04 05 06.

I nearly bought from this site but was a little suspicious when I got to the pay page and some of the text was not written in good english.

I was also suspicious because every other supplier of V fest tickets was sold out and yet this this site seemed to suggest unlimited ticket availibility.

Remember: If it appears to go to be true it probably is
