Stewart1966
Does anyone know if you park on the south car parks whether you can walk through red camp site and pitch your tent before having to get wrist bands? I can't see any other way to get to the wrist band tent before entering any camp sites otherwise. I'd sooner get the tent up first ! I usually park on west so we get to the wrist band tent before the campsites but we're not doing the bl**dy west car park slog ever again - just way too far with all our stuff!! wave
I can only speak from my expeirences over the last 10 yrs and it appears that the earlier u arrive the further down the car parks they push you. I've been directed to south carpark when we have arrived really early on friday ( approx 6 times). I don't even think it is about what direction along the A5 you approach either, as we have arrived from both and still were ferried down to the bottom. About 5 yrs ago, due to traffic we arrived at 3.00 on sat morning and were way up in north carpark. Also very early on I;ve not seen the fences, only when we have arrived late in the afternoon and it was a f***ing nightmare walking the entire park
