Disabled Access Enquiry

I bought tickets with a group of friends when they went on sale. We have all been looking forward to our third year at V. Unfortunately I fell 6 weeks ago and broke my ankle in 3 places and ended up having operation to insert plates. pins etc and have now got a pot on. I have to go back tomorrow to have my pot taken off but will still need crutches to walk. I am still wanting to attend v festival but would like to know if we will be able to camp on disabled campsite? And use the disabled car park. Altogether there will be 4 of us. Could you please advise me what to do and if this is ok? I have a letter from my doctor explaing i am temporarily disabled.

Could you please get back to me asap please as i am a little worried what i am going to do and have sent 21 emails to 3 other email addresses for v festival (web@vfestival.com help@vfestival.com and contact@vfestival) with no reply. Hope you can help me.

If I were you I would contact the ticket vendor you purchased your tickets from and see if they can't transfer you to disabled tickets. Good luck ;);)

PS I'm not sure whether you would be able to take 3 friends with you, they may insist that one carer is enough.

Thanks folks for your help. I looked at the link rockybox. Now thinking of hiring a van if i cant be with mates on disabled. that will help the carrying of all gear lol. do you know if it costs more to camp on caravan/camper van and if you have to have special tickets? Going to ring round tomorrow for my best options thanks so much. Don`t forget to say hi if you see a couple of pink and purple stripy crutches lol x
