Anyone ever got a Taxi out of V during the weekend?

has anyone ever got a taxi out of V during the festival?

I've just found out this week that I,m gonna be a dad... cool, and I'm not sure that the wife can last the weekend with the dreaded morning sickness. We are camping for the weekend and I wondered what the traffic was like after the friday madness getting in. Is it still bad on Saturday afternoon for example....

Any help would be appreciated.

it would be expensive but you can book them to pick you up from the pick up/drop off point. traffic getting out isnt a problem but it took a couple of mates over an hour to get back in of the saturday afternoon

not got a taxi out but i got the shuttle bus out of the festival on the saturday two years ago as i had to go to my gran and grandads golden wedding party. The bus left almost straight away with only me on it and went fairly fast to the train station without any stops in between. It took about 45 minutes. Probably cheaper and less hassle to do that then get a taxi from train station. Plus i couldve got away wiv out paying but im too bloody honest and did at least it was only a 5er eh?

I got a taxi out on the Sunday evening last year... the guy said that there was pretty much taxis there all the time. The only time you tend to wait is about 15mins after the last band on each night, so last year, I left about 10 mins before the end, and I was out in 10 mins... a little overpriced, but ask them how much before you get in, then you have an idea... also save a few taxi companies in your phone and book one if needs be
