confused by this queing and opening thing

right i plan to come on the Friday to get into yellow campsite about 11. i have a large tent and am worried i might not get a spot.

im trying to find out what exactly happens at this festival as far as i can gather this is how it goes

you queue on the road to get into yellow carpark

you then walk f**king miles to the campsite where you have to wait until 12 to get in. (is this the waiting bit or am i wrong

or is it a case of waiting to get in the car park and once your in there you can fly through to camping no bother no queuing

where is this queuing

The car parks open at 10am. You park up and take your tents and bags etc etc etc and get in the campsite queue which should be just where the car park is . . . get comfy and crack open a strongbow. The campsite gates then open at around midday . . . sometimes earlier . . . and you then find where you want to camp and spot and set up.

Yeah the first one ...a que back up on the A414 ...till u get into hylands then u drive straight to car park ....walk usually a fair bit, never been in yellow, but red think about 15min last year ...wasn't a real que at campsite entrance last year ....but that depends on when u arrive. I got ther prob about 1 last year, so build up of que b4 gate opens was not a problem. They must open b4 12 as when I've got there around 12 there are always people already pitched up.

U will find space for your tent at that time no prob, just u may av to walk 5 mins through the campsite once ur in....Av fun !!

No back up on the motorway for us, but then again we were there at 9am . . . the earlier the better, I think.

The only queue for us was waiting for the campsite to open . . . but as we were already sitting down and cracking on, it wasn't such a hardship . . . although watch the buggers pushing in from the sides. When we get there last year there were about 60 people in the queue . . . but by the time the gates opened, there were about 300 in front of us, as everyone had pushed in from the sides!
