Need help with travelling

Hello festival goers!

I am travelling alone from portsmouth on saturday to watch prodigy and arctic monkeys. any idea how the the traffic is gonna be, parking area and the official map of the place.

I googled but could not find the answer. Hopefully you can explain to me.

How can i pay the parking ticket? I went to the SEE website and its not there. Can I purchase it over there?

Yes you can, when you enter the carpark, you will be able to buy the ticket there and then!

I googled the direction from portsmouth.

First, M3 then A30 and A33 (key in from my place to richfield avenue reading).

I could not get the picture where the parking area is gonna be.

Is the green car park the best place and nearer? And is it across the river?

From the map observation, instead of taking the junction to richfield avenue, I need to go straight to church road, then find a signboard for the green parking?

Am I right?

Once you get off the motorway there will be plenty of signs to the car parks, just follow them, much easier than worrying about directions.

I would imagine traffic on the motorway will be not much different to normal, but once off the motorway will probably be pretty heavy.

However there will have been plenty of warning signs and preparations made for the increased traffic load so I wouldn't panic too much. Just give yourself plnty of time to get there and you will be fine!

Is the official timetable been published yet? If so, what time does the event start on saturday? from my experience, it usually start probably at 12 o'clock.

So i planning to reach there around 10.30 to 11 in the morning.

Bring it on!
