shoptildrop
Team Orange is growing though, there are lots of people who have joined over the year's that are still coming and we have 10 more new recruits. We buy all our booze before we go and stick it down our oants, up tops etc... yes we did get caught last year which added to the fun as we had to drink 4 litres of wine at the gates Yaaaaay!!! I always nip back to the tne in the day for a drinkie poo's as well, not far too walk, So stop bloody moaning, if you don't like V, don't fookin Go and stop at home and watch the highlights on TV. I personally don't like Leeds but have never been on the forum to say that, Opinions are like arse holes everyone has one and some people act like them. munch
This was my first experience of a festival and generally I wasn't too impressed. Overall I enjoyed the music, got to see a tonne of people but more than anything the most disturbing aspect of the whole festival was how vile some of the people attending it were. Sh*tting in the showers? Leaving god knows what in the toilets? Pissing anywhere that took there fancy, including in crowds of people? Is this what all festivals are like?!?! I can't actually count the amount of times I had drinks thrown over me, or had someone trying to molest me in the crowd. After the first day I stopped going near the front so I could prevent both of these things. As for the food, it was pretty bad. I understand the cost of the pitches and the increased prices as a result but the quality was severely below par - i didnt eat much because it was all pretty foul - thank god for my jammy dodgers. I found it surprisingly easy to get alcohol into the arena, i think I was only checked once. We stayed in blue, it wasn't terrible and the people around us were lovely. I know it sounds like I had a crap time but I did enjoy most of the experience because of seeing the bands I liked etc I just think that certain aspects of the weekend could have been improved. There weren't enough toilets for example - well why not? I don' think I will go back next year - I've experience it now and if I had to go through the festival exp again I would def go to another one with a better line up to make it worthwhile. There just seemed to be something lacking with V, and I'm still not sure what it is
