i've heard they are only on entry to the arena and its just a bag search on entry to the site?

Have a search on here as this has been asked loads of times but, briefly, the searches on entry to the arena consist of emptying your pockets into a clear plastic bag (like at the airport) and then a bag check and possible frisk down (although this doesn't happen too much when it's busy). There are sniffer dogs but they mostly get bored and ineffective so I wouldn't gett too worried about them.
