rachwest73
Have to have a moan..... My friends wristband came off on Saturday night as she was trying to fight her way out of the crowds during the Killers set! Unfortunately we had become seperated and due to no mobile phones working and going straight to voicemail and texts not getting delivered.... were unable to inform each other of our location! Hence I made my way back to the campsite after the Killers un be knows that she was being told to go from pillar to post for two hours trying to sort her wrist band out... As there aren't many options so late at night she was told to go back to the Box Office on Sunday with some ID and luckily made her way though the crowd back into the campsite! Off we trot at 12pm to the Box Office to be told "There is nothing that we can do"... even though we have proof that she had had a wrist band!!! Completley gutted that we were going to miss the day's line up we head back to the campsite to pack up our stuff and head home to be told.... "You can't come in the campsite if you have lost your wristband!".... OK fair enough, completely understand the principle BUT we need to pack up and get out!! I had to spend two hours packing up everything myself and getting it all to the edge of the campsite to then be moved 30 mins away back to the car!!!! BUT...... what would have happened on Saturday night if Security had seen that she hadn't got her wrist band on...! She wouldn't have got back into the campsite, wouldn't have been able to contact me (due to mobiles blocking) and wouldn't have even been able to get her car keys from the tent to even sleep in the car!!! Do they not realise that these things can happen, the clasps on the bands can break... and that a woman on her own unable to contact friends or access her belongs at 12am at night could be in danger!!!! rachwest73
Oh.... does anyone know if you can claim the money back on bar tokens.... as obviously we still have loads left where we couldn't get in on Sunday!!!
BrandonFlowersTache
I wouldnt hold your breath about any kind of bar token refund. The promoters bank on people buying far more tokens than they actually need. We had quite a few left over on Sunday and just sold them on to some p*ssed up chav for a small loss.
