How good were Elbow?

Basicly,couldnt go . didnt want to watch it on the box, would of just pissed me off.

I've been a massive Elbow fan for years, this is the first time I've seen them at a festival though. They were superb, perfect setting sun in the background too. Did a good job at getting the crowd involved too, especially given the news of Oasis (Obv talking about Chelmsford)

Grounds for Divorce was amazing, and One Day Like This was every bit what I expected it to be, it gave me goosebumps!

If they do V again, they deserve to be much higher. The only thing that could possibly make them better is seeing them at night, and so a longer a set.

They are doing the Manchester gig next month then taking a break so they wont be touring again for a while now.

Nearly lost control during Weather To Fly, my V festival moment of 2009. Good to hear Station Approach too, even though the mere mention of Manchester by Guy caused a few humorous post-Oasis boos.

I didnt know much by them before I went and left quite impressed. But having said that I was knackered and just wanted to sleep whilst they were playing so couldnt do justice at the time.

I hated Elbow up until I watched them live, absolutely fantastic.
