TV Coverage for 2010

Why does the TV Coverage always have to come from Hylands Park? Reading the papers and watching the coverage you'd barly know that the Festival was also taking part at Weston Park. Can they not alternate it every year.

Would be great to see them heading over to Weston Park for V Festival 2010, what do others think?

Hopefully somebody connected to the V Festival/Channel 4/TV Production/Mr Bob Angus will see this and make commment?

I like Weston park being a footage free zone - it's means smallers gaps between stage and crowd, no z-list 'celebs' and nobody trying to hard to get on tv.

I personally relish the chance of being on TV, yet Weston's lack of coverage meant Amy Winehouse didn't feel the need to spoil the Specials set

The fact that Weston isn't included in the TV coverage or it seems in any of the newspaper reviews has started to annoy me more & more ever since i started going to V. It was made especially annoying since when Oasis pulled out of Hylands, not once did i read or hear 'Oh yeah, but they did play at Weston'. It's like you say, you'd barely know it was a dual-venue festival if you only paid attention to the media coverage.

The most important thing is that there should be more TV coverage all together

Channel 4 should make use of the interactive shiz like the bbc do

Id personally prefer bbc just to cover the fest but thats not really gonna happen is it

Would be great for BBC to do coverage, but it's probably because CH4 offers more sponsorship money, and BBC are doing R+L..

But i think its better without TV coverage at Weston

I saw Andy Sugden at Weston during Paolo Nutini and saw a Bonnie Langford and Wayne Sleep lookalike, it was rather comical lol

This really bugs me 2

They were showing highlights on 4 music last night and it stated that there was highlights from Oasis, watched it all (thinking they would show them at Staffs) then nothing!!!!!!!

I was very dissapointed with the C4 coverage, very poor quality compared to what BBC do. I think they must have shown the whole Lily Allen set and only clips of other artist which were great. Seems a shame not to have better interactive coverage so that you can see the artists that appeal to you.

Don't really give a damn as i can't watch it on tv if i'm there.
