Reading needs a Green Police

Green Police at Glasto seemed mostly tossers - decent idea though.

Don't think pissing in a field really matters one bit though - not really a need for them at Reading.

Actually the Green Police at Glastonbury are just concerned with keeping the festival clean as possible. This involves trying to make sure everyone pees in the toilets; Urine isn't actually great for a working farm if you get loads of people doing it. Just making sure people use the bins etc. The people who take part of green police are most likely environmentally minded but they don't go round preaching about how everything should be green and eco friendly!

Now? they've been there for decades - it's loads better now - no rain of glass bottles/glasses, no huge arena fires - and black smoke everywhere, no huge fights, and no threatening behaviour.

All right they burn stuff and make a mess - but this is Reading - it used to be far worse. Least the current generation are pretty friendly and polite and up for a laugh and a mosh rather than a bundle.

I always thought the Green Police was a bit tongue-in-cheek.

They mean well, but yeah, they wouldn't go down too well with the people who normally attend Reading and Leeds.

Ive read most people on the glasto board take a empty bottle of washing detergent thing.

as long as you dont through it at anyone or anything and chuck it straigh down the toilet that is not frowned upon is it?

I thought it was quite good last year.....

But then I am nearly fully blind so in my world its all good....
