The Schlepp - Car park to Campsite

Good day, and it is a good day looking out of the window, and the outlook for the weekend is brilliant.

Having eschewed Bestival this year for a first time EOTR, and seriously looking forward to it. I have a couple of questions

Was wondering what the schlepp is like from the car park to the campsite? How many minutes and is it uphill/flat etc.

Also, a bit confused from the posts I've read as to whether you can take your own booze into the Arena. Would, for example, a two litre bottle of cider be acceptable. (apologies edited as have just read a post a few below which answers this)

Thirdly, there appears to be a complete open fire ban. Does this also include raised BBQ's?

From where you park thers's a bit of downhill to the wristband area, then a short uphill bit and then it's flat all the way. It's one of the shortest and easiest fezzie schlepps around

Yeah you can take in plastic and cans but no glass is that right?
