recs for Friday

Can anyone give me recommendations for Friday evening?

I've been following the 'what are you listening to thread' so have got some ideas from that but my Friday ticket is still a bit light! probably getting there at 5pm.

I am going to the Duke and the King but not sure after that.

I am looking forward to Richmond Fontaine, Okkerivl River, William Elliot Whitmore, J Tillman etc

Basically I like the sad singer songer types (Ryan Adams, Eliott Smith et al) so who fits that bill Friday?

Hi, not so much of a sad singer/songwriter suggestion, but if you like anything roughly along the post rock lines, then check Spokes out. I saw them in a small venue earlier this year, and was impressed enough to buy a cd at the end of the gig. Problem was, I was a tad drunk, and bought a cd by the wrong band! Er, probably best to take no notice of me. First Aid Kit & Wye Oak have both tugged at the heart strings too...
