The Hotel's Booked........

Despite all the moaning on here and the dodgy weather, I loved CF 2009 just as i've loved them all since I first went in 2001. Therefore I have booked the hotel and can't wait till next year when the sun is going to shine in the North West for the entire BH weekend

Well organised if anything else! Many of you stay here or you do CF solo?

£50 a night, now that ain’t bad going at all considering location, even better with the pub that’s next to it too!

Yeah, I like to be organised There were 3 of us this year so I had my own room The numbers vary but generally 3 or 4 of us in recent years. There were about 20 of us the first few times I ever went. There are always plenty of people at the hotel that are going, probably the majority!!

and there'd be better parking if the weathers shite...we were right next to the exit but we nearly didn't get out as it was so slippy with the mud

That happened to us in 08 and we said we'd never bother taking the car from the hotel to the site again. Taxi's all the way now I think the secret is to park further up the hill ad drive down pointin straight at the exit rather than alog the bottom of the field if you get what I mean.

A few years ago at when it was still at Speke we all went in a minibus. This was before we realised the virtues of a hotel. Anyway, the minibus got stuck in the mud and we had to get out and push. One of my mates (in a spangled state) stood behind one of the back wheels to push and got absolutely covered in mud when the bus managed to pull away Was like something out of You've Been Framed
