ljsawyer
Richmond Fontaine for me with an incredible set (they played Winner's Casino!). No trumpet or pedal steel but meh, was still awesome. Honourable mentions go to Fleet Foxes, The Tallest Man On Earth, Wildbirds & Peacedrums, Malcolm Middleton, William Elliott Whitmore and The Week That Was. Worst band on the other hand for me was Joe Gideon & The Shark but not that it subtracted from the overall experience - amazing festival and will be returning next year (without crutches hopefully). Peter Broderick was really cool also, and Ohbijou ad Laura Gibson. Also really enjoyed Loney dear again, Shearwater again, and Soy Un Caballo. marooned
BEST - Ohbijou, Explosions in the Sky, Brakes WORST - The Hold Steady and Fleet Foxes - no variation at all in their sets - see Brakes for grabbing an audience! BEST LAUGH - Bob Logg WORST LAUGH - missing Phil Kay because he swapped gig times with some no-mark - and I didn't find out til 1 hour later BEST FOOD - Tea Bus and the next-door Wedgy outfit .......BUT, my little foxettes - it's only about opinions, and mines is no more (and no less) valid than yours!!! ANYONE HEAR THE RUMOUR THAT SOFIA MAY BE TRYING FOR 10,000 CAPACITY NEXT YEAR - wonder what that'll mean for the site layout!!

GeordieMartin
I can honestly say I never saw any one band and thought they sucked. Everyone brought something to this brilliant festival. Highlights though were New band to check out - Motel Motel, superb set and were pretty overwhelmed by the whole thing. Great crowd for the first band on. Better than i expected - William Elliott Whitmore. Again, he was blown away by he reaction and size of the crowd, really nice set he played. Biggest let down Fleet Foxes. I mean they were ok but far too much Whoa oh whoa oh whoa whoaaaaaaa oohhhhh whoa in their songs it got a bit much for me. Guaranteed Winner Brakes. Really full on set in the big top stage and pulled a huge crowd considering steve earle was on at the same time. f**king Rock Archie Bronson Outfit - Loud loud LOUD band and rocked the place Gutted I missed Too many, Bob lind, Bob Log, Sam Baker, Peter Broderick, tallest man on earth (really gutted, i was recovering in my tent :-( Still, can't see everyone and will be there again next year.
