johnty
Anyone know what the maximum amount of a) adults, and children you can have on a campervan ticket? The most Ive had is 3 adults and 2 children at glasto, and it's 4 per camper/caravan at V. Otherwise, We are going to scratch our heads until we can come with a solution. (p.s. - camping is not an option)

grumpyhack
I'm a bit unsure on a couple of campervan points. We've got a trailer tent that has an awning that attaches and forms part of the accomondation - it's a kitchen/living area where someone might also sleep. But the Glasto site says: Will I be able to put up an awning? Can I sleep under the awning? Yes, manufacturers awnings are acceptable, but the Fire Service does not permit people to sleep under these awnings because of the risk of contiguous fire between vehicles. So would someone be allowed to sleep in that area? It also says <A name=tentcaravan>Can I pitch a tent beside my caravan/campervan? The Fire Officer will not allow ticket-holders to camp beside campervans or cars due to the risk of contiguous fire, but it is permitted to camp behind them. How close is behind them and how big a tent as we'd all like to be together - most of us in the trailer tent but a couple behind in a small tent. Mr_Grump
In 2009 a guy who I work with took his wife & two kids plus his daughters best mate in his campervan - he & his wife slept in the camper & the other 3 pitched 2 tents next to it without any problems,
puppetmode
you have about the same room at the side of the campervan as the size of a campervan. Yes you can put an awning up and/or a tent and can sleep in it as we have travelled with friends who slept in the camper and we in the tent. Previous years has been restricted to 4 people per campervan. not sure if that is per ticket and able to have 2 tickets. Just chat with the stewards who are parking the vehicles and try and wingle extra space. also some people come in together and prefer to have the doors and space facing each other so all this needs to be sorted when parking. They're quite good about it
