Paying balance

Apologies if this has been asked but the search function is turned off and I cannot find anthing on TOS or See.

I paid a deposit but now want to pay the balance on one ticket so I can secure my campervan ticket.

Any ideas how to do this?

I rang them just now. "Plenty" left. No facility to pay in full at this moment in time - the supervisors aren't telling the front line staff when this functionality will be added, but the guy i spoke to seemed to think within a week.

I asked him three times if there were many left, and three times he said "plenty", so I'm a bit more relaxed now.

Hopefully with the extra campervan field, there will be enough campervan tickets for all who want one in any case.

Hi Mooro, thanks for the update, I was told the same when I finally got through, so going to check it every day, I'm sure there will be enough to go round, I think they only sold out in April last year so we have plenty of breathing space. I'll post back when I see the functionality up on their site. One thing I forgot to ask though was can I pay for 1 out of the 5 tickets in full, I don't have the cash to pay for them all, anyone know the answer to this?

I've just done exactly that - and it's bad news. Their email is correct.

The operator I spoke to consulted Andrew Shankland, a manager at Seetickets. We have to pay the COMPLETE balance to get a campervan ticket. It's true that you can pay off the tickets one at a time without a campervan ticket, but not if you want a campervan ticket.

OUCH!

The tickets won't be on sale for a few weeks.

I told them that, and to expect a lot of angry punters.

The operator had to go away and ask, so it seems that it's early days for Seetickets with this year's system. I suspect we could get this changed if a lot of people phone them and throw all their toys out of the pram.

Four tickets plus a camper van is £775 - that's a hell of a lot of money to find in one go!

As far as I can make out, as long as you pay for one ticket in full, you'll be able to purchase extras. It does mean you'll pay an extra £4.95 for the single postage of the one ticket and another postage fee for the ones left to pay but I don't think you'll need to fork out for your complete booking.
