PGA - path down past John Peel Stage from entrance

It 2009 the path from PGA down past the John Peel Stage was blocked off by Hospitality camping. You had to walk around the fence which added quite a bit of time carrying all your stuff.

Anyone had any news if this is going to happen again in 2010. I know the stewards were not happy with the new arrangement so was just wondering if they have decided to change this for next year.

Here's hoping

aaaaand thirded

we camped in the wicket ground, as always, but wont be there next year because the cinema has moved and that part of the site is now pretty much devoid of any atmosphere because of the large fence surrounding the hospitality camping and the fact the path was blocked off

Yes, peeved me seriously.

We to the trouble to go green and come by coach (and help the festival) then they make us walk with all our kit for an extra 15 minutes+ around the horsbrutality camping before we can actually head in the direction of the camp site we want to get to!

Come on guys, make it easier for those that come by public transport, don't punish us for it!

I'd read about how annoyed people were about the hospitality fence, but I've only just clicked that the bloody thing inconvenienced me too. It was near the JP stage, right, so if you walked from the JP up to the entrance where the coaches drop off, you had to divery round it?

If so, I found that bloody thing really annoying! Especially as I had to walk up on the Wednesday evening to meet my sister at the Castle Cary shuttle drop-off point, and then again on the Thursday to meet my girlfriend. That fence probably wasted two hours of my festival altogether!

Oh, not to mention the bus on the way in dropped us off short, by the side of the road, so I had to trek down a number of country lanes before even getting to the site.

Gah...
