scaryclaireyfairy
somehow my mates managed to order 3 duplicates. it's a long story but it involved a night on the lash and no sleep in the lead up to t-day, then mad eyes and crab hands when it came to typing and reading the screen. do seetickets generally automatically refund duplicates or what? i tried phoning today but the message said glasto enquiries should be emailed to them and my stupid friends haven't forwarded me all the confirmation emails yet (they went to 3 separate addresses). without knowing which booking numbers i want cancelled, i don't want to email them in case they bollocks up the rest of our order (7 tickets in total). once i have the relevant info should i stick it out on the phone or email or just wait for them to sort it themselves? past experiences please. EamerRed
Give them to meeeee . Nah seriously I'm sure they must have some sort of system in place for this. If not the worst that can happen as far as I know is you don't pay the rest and get £45 of the £50 back.
scaryclaireyfairy
it's £40 of the £50 back! and that's entirely different. we're not cancelling, they've f**ked up. they haven't even sent a confirmation email of the duplicate order, just merrily snaffled the cash. i initially only noticed the duplicate when i used the order tracker. cejx
I didn't think you could order dupes this year. As soon as the deposit went through, then the used registration numbers couldn't be used again.

scaryclaireyfairy
well, i phoned and a fella sounding like he'd not slept in a week assured me, without taking booking refs, reg numbers etc, that he'd sort it. "whoah, whoah, whoah!" exclaimed i. "i want it done while i'm on the phone and you can tell me which you are cancelling. i also want your name and extension number so i can hunt you down if you mess it up". the money will take up to a week to come home, but thus far he appears to have cancelled the right section of our mega-complicated booking. by next year i will have made clones of me to man the computers on t-day hopefully.
