How to get to car park for family field camping?

We usually come down the motorway from the north and then end up getting directed into west car parks, usually around west 24, but as we are coming down with the baby this year we are going to be camping in the family camping field.

Question is, how do we get to the east car parks which i presume are the ones nearest to this camping area?

Can we just go the same way, because it seems to me when you get to the west car parks they won't let you go any further around the site, they just direct you into the west car parks

I take it you've previously come in along the A361 from Glastonbury town in the past to get to W24.

A family camping area was marked up in Paines (west side) this year but am assuming you want family camp east side due to more central location and proximity to Kidz field.

In my experience if you approach from Shepton Mallet (via A37) you inevitably get hoovered into the East car parks.

This year it took a lot of planning, coming from the north, to actually get to West car parks...which we wanted cos we were camping with mates in Park/Dairy Ground

I'm sure in the past we've always come via shepton mallet but we end up in the west car parks?

Not 100% sure and i've done the same route 5 times now!

Blimey in that case perhaps others might help out here. Perhaps you came down the B3136 rather than taking the A roads. We need to find a local to help out here I think!

Come off at Burnham on sea, go to Wells through Cheddar, take the road to Shepton Mallet from Wells, through Croscombe, and come in round the back..
