Was at magic numbers gig the other night and they covered the song in suppport as their set close. Was supprised and found it an odd band to cover such a song.

To be fair to the five live presenter, she handled it pretty well.

Obviously in an ideal world the media wouldn't be f**king hypocrites, and either allow the song to be played in its entirety or have the guts to admit that the lyrics were beneath them. But I did laugh at the way she ended it.

Killing in the name getting a lot of airtime, seems to be on every time I walk past a radio at the moment, this is no bad thing.

Was reading something on a blog (I thought badscience but I can't find it now) that it was quite snobbish one group of people telling another group that their music was better. I kind of thought that was the point, and don't see this as being negative.

I'm starting to think this could be quite funny.
