Here's one of my favourites I snapped on my phone en route to Justice in 2017. There's no sunset like a Glastonbury sunset...

yeah closer than me..... I had to wait for my daughter to join me. We had been there for Elbow, i stayed for Sleaford Mods whilst she saw Lorde at Other. A somewhat eclectic run : Elbow, Sleaford Mods and Flaming Lips but was probably my favourite Glastonbury night in 9 visits... First time i had seen Flaming Lips and they were spectacular.. What a night!

Damn that Radiohead/Lips clash was brutal. Thankfully Lips were incredible at Rock City last August so it made up for it a bit, and Radiohead was one of the all time great sets.

That could have been 2010.

I was working for DC that year on the perimeter towers when the radio crackled "I think someone is parachuting in"

Control were understandably a bit confused and asked them to keep an eye on him.

From what I remember, he eventually landed by Stone Circle / Tipi Fields and was quickly apprehended by a security team.  

They were beginning to escort off the site when word got to Michael and came on the radio to tell the security team to give him a wristband.

It was 2015. Dude came zooming into view at the culmination of Mavis Staples’ set on The Park stage. People were appreciative of Mavis but I think she believed the extra cheer was hers as well. Actually the crowd were egging on the guy in the air who appeared over the top of the stage at just the right time.

I had a cracking spot for Elbow! Another brilliant set from them... getting the hill to join in was such a Guy Garvey thing to do. There is not a chance in hell I could have watched the sleaford mods though... i just cant... haha
