I think REM could be a strong possibility of headliner you know

Also Id expect Scissor Sisters to play surely if they're trying to promote a new album, V has been good to them, surely they'd get offered a slot, where though I dunno, If you were the booker where would you offer them a spot on the line up right now?

3rd main stage? Lower? Maybe the tent headliner? or are they even that big? Weird cus you would have to book these artists early and its hard to say cus they kind of feel from grace and you don't know how well the new album will be recieved.

Just thinking if they tour the new album, last album, they toured the festivals in early to mid summer, this time they might do the later fests and they've never played V, and I think they would fit in well.

So far Arctic Monkeys aren't doing anything past Feb. Im not sure they'll be playing fests. Of course they could just do V and nothing else.

And I can't see Kasabian being last act at V if they are only co-headlining TITP, they'll surely be co-headling V, which leaves room for another headliner

You think?

The same was said for Radiohead and Morrissey headlining in the past and they did the same year!

I think a lot of people would know a few of their songs - Losing My Religion, Whats the Frequency Kenneth, Everybody Hurts.

That being said I saw them at TITP and they didn't play a set of hits at all!

But I think the V goers would be happy if they had 2nd stage headliners like they did back in 2006 with Razorlight and Kasabian.

But anyway, they probably aren't playing. Just was thinking that if they ever were going to, 2010 could be the year.

Radiohead did a 'hits' set at V I thought. I thought the footage of them at reading this year though they looked shite. And as you put on here.

Radiohead are my fave band, but I know they're not to everyones taste, Everytime Ive seen them they've been ace but V was easily the worst Ive seen them, and their Reading performance was worse than that by far from what I saw on TV.

REM as I said at TITP they didn't play a hits set, in fact whilst they seemed up for it and played well, I didn't enjoy it at all, and maybe V won't risk booking an act like REM as a headliner.

Im really struggling to see who will headline V next year, if Kasabian are only on last but one, and I know a lot of people think Arctic Monkeys but they really don't seem interested in playing V, they're in love with Reading and Leeds. I fully expect Faithless to play but I can't see them headling. So im stuck.

In fact this has been the year where the headliners for nearly all the fests have been unknown for as long as I can remember!

If you think that V would ever play Stone Sour you are on crack... the 17 yr old pop tarts would start blarting within two seconds.

Now what I would pay to see is Rage Against The Machine and Cheryl Cole on the same bill so she can see why they beat the X Factor!

It was a list of acts with albums out rather than a list of these artists will be playing fests

I believe Gorillaz have played live 4 times in the past, I know they have done at least 4 gigs, so it may be more.

Basically you see everyone performing but only as a shadow, and then they show the cartoon versions above on a screen

As seen in the video below
