James have a mini album out and are touring in April, and doing IoW, though they did do V in 2009 so unlikely 2 years running (though I would want them to play)

Goo Goo Dolls played in 2007 and they have new album out this year.

well you're entitled to your opinion but I don't know anyone who has heard either of their album's and not liked them. Anyone I've lent the cd's too has liked them and they're bloody good live.. Kasabian looks like a dead cert, and I reckon Jay Z will headline the other night.

Pigeons are awesome performers saw them at 08 and then went to ally pally in london to see them love every single one of their songs.

I think theyre a good shout too

Used to like them, then i developed some taste. Upon listening recently I can't believe i ever liked them. Amazing what a year can do.

Can see The Courteeners maybe 3rd or 4th depending on how their album does or perhaps 2nd on 4Music. Seen them twice and love them, but as its out next month and theyve developed quite a big following they could definitely pack out the northern leg.

Ive seen Pidgeons twice, they're alright but MUCH better around like We Are Scientists, Editors, Doves, Raconteurs even The Wombats IMO. Even older indie bands like Shed Seven, Charlatans, Travis, Supergrass, Gomez

Pidgeons would be bottom of the list out of all the above, but they'd be above Taylor Swift, N Dubz and Tycher Stryder tho!

This is a real off-the-wall hope, but after 2manydj's really set a good example of a great DJ set, could we see someone like Sub Focus, Jack Beats (new album for 2010) or someone in the dance genre get headliner slot for the Arena?
