We're planning on getting one of these

http://www.allgardenfun.com/radio-flyer-bi...classic-atw.asp

for our (will be by Glasto) 14 month old (No idea if that link works, I'm not sure how to post links on here)

It comes with a canopy, in case of rain, and it's high enough off the ground to escape the mud. We've decided against the pushchair, I'm not convinced it'll be any good when/if the rain and mud arrives.

I know of folk that despite their girl being older than 5, she certainly appreciated having a 3 wheeler, canopied chair to return to when tired. It meant that they could stay out a bit later while she slept rather than having to be carried or go back to the tent that bit earlier.

Those bicycle trailer pods seem to be very popular for all ages of kids. I've seen 3 kids all passed out on top of each other in one at the cider bus before! Obviously NOT attached to a bicycle but used as a stroller.

we're going to buy one of these...

great for transporting the tent etc initially to the pitch site, and then for padding with cushions, blnakets etc to transport our daughter who will have just turned 4 by then. saw several parents transporting children in them last year - one or two had customised them to look like vw campers too - v cool. just need to fashion a waterproof roof for them just in case.

I built this the glasto barrow! Originally for getting our gear from the car to campsite but now all pimped out I tow our kids around in it. I have a raincover from a double buggy I can put up if the weather gets bad. For this year Im thinking of putting some spot ights on it for night time adventures! :P

Did the children who went without a buggy etc have a nap at all and did you stop out past their normal at home bedtime?

This year (ticket re-sale permitting) we will be bringing our 3 year old for the 1st time and hopefully borrowing a huge 3-wheeler pram with tyres....I think the pram will also be uselful for carrying food/drinks/supplies instead of being weighed down with a massive bag!

I think he'll want to sit in the pram if we stop out for later bands (here's hoping he goes to sleep in it!) :P
