Has anyone used The Green Tent Company before and bought a tent off them? Got the link off the Sonisphere website but it covers Glasto and other festivals.

You can buy tents, festival kits and accessories and pick it up at the festival site. Also tents are Recyclable.

So has anyone used a tent bought from here? Was it any good, waterproof etc? I am especially liking the fact you can pick it up on site and recyclable as im coming from Glasgow it would save some major luggage woes coming down.

Not my own work, was on someones Glasto-blog and found this...

I went to Millets and said 'I want to buy a tent.'

He said 'To camp?'

I said (butchly) 'Sorry, I want to buy a tent.'

I said 'I also want to buy a caravan.'

He said 'Camper?'

I said (campily) 'Make your mind up.'

Take a look at the Vango Tigris 400. We just bought the DLX version from ebay but they've sent the standard one. Just as well I think, we measured out the living area for the DLX on the floor with a tape measure - it's fecking huge! :P

We're going to keep this one if we can get a reasonable refund. :P

Oh My Days!! I have never been so excited about a tent!!!!!! We chose this last night!!! It's on order, I cannot wait to put it up for the 1st time.

That looks great Di! How many of you are gonna be sharing it? I think we might go for the Outwell Arizona, it's gone down in price a little now & there are only two of us...& we'll be on public transport so 11kg is just about the limit of what we can handle I reckon! :P Got some walking boots from Decathlon earlier today & some gaiters...they are kinda geeky, but I love them! (Sarah will die when she sees them when she visits!) I got shit coloured walking boots cos I figured it won't matter when they get covered in mud :P

Its a tunnel tent, which is obv good for storage but what sold it for me was the fact it has a raised groundsheet...so no puddles around the edges for me!

Haha I bet Sarah says Ewww yuk! We should meet what are your plans for the next couple of weekends? Not drinking much as dieting hard would like to drop another dress size before Glastonbury, I have done 2 1/2 stone now. Message me in fb with your plans and see what we can sort out, we could do a little shopping trip to Lewisham? there is a Poundland there now!
