On a happier note the lovely titp has bought his ticket and will be joining us at efest camp

Anybody know if there will be VIP tickets like last year? I rather enjoyed the VIP area, albeit small. Was a great place to hang out, the beer was better (and colder) and getting to hang out with the Utah's following their amazing set was pretty special also!

Wickerman Efest Camp 2010 Everyone Welcome

If anyone wants to come and join in camp Efest at this years festie this is the place to add your name in the absense of the subforum! Some of us have met before but don't let that put you off. We're a friendly bunch!

There is added security of camping in a group as there are often people in camp. It also makes it easy to find a friendly face while bimbling about the site or gives lots of options of folk to head to see bands with.

Taking names from this thread so far as well as a few names of those working the fest who will be camping with us (they're too busy glastobating at present to post in here!)

Not 100% sure if i'll be in efest camp this year......considering giving family camping a try......but fear not I shall be about loads.....you ain't getting rid of me that easily

i've removed me and rexclark, he's not going, and i'm still undecided. i'll probably decide at the last minute if i'm going or not, got the time off, just serious lack of funds! if i go i'll be camping efest though.

Is there a separate family camping area for families and do I need a different ticket as we just have general admission plus 3 childrens tkts.

Also how easy is it to camp on masse as there will be at least 7 families in our group .

You cannot park next to your tent however if it's the same layout as it was 2 years ago then its literally 5 mins walk from car park to campsite (if you're camping in the general campsite)

Does anyone have a pic of the site layout from last year? Or can you tell me if family camping has a separate car park? I seem to mind that there was a different car park but not sure if i'm just imagining it

There was a family/quiet camping parking area last year. It cost an additional £5 to camp there and made the difference of walking one field to your tent instead of two!

Meh! No need for bullying tactics yet .....i'm just throwing ideas around in my head and thinking that family might be a bit quieter than this years camp is shaping up to be.......who knows. I think im still suffering from lack of sleep at Rockness perhaps i'll change my mind when i'm feeling slightly more human

The arrival gate off the A711 is the same for everyone no mater were you are camped, performing, crew etc. (unless arriving by helicopter) You will the get directed along the corect routes on site depending on your pass.
