[MCR] Mini Micron - 4th Sat every month @ The Corner, Fallowfield

In case you have not heard the rumours Micron are right up the duff oven. Due date is Saturday 23 January. Mini Micron will be like Micron but all squished up into a little box on a corner in Fallowfield, Manchester. Entry will always be free and we will be inviting some of our DJ friends to come and play with The Corner’s toys.

But for the first party it's all about the Micron residents. They have been nominated in DJ Mag awards; rocked Warehouse Project, Sankeys and Back To Basics; and had mixes featured on Juno Podcasts, Bora Bora Radio and in International-DJ Magazine and DJ Mag (last month's Pick 'n' Mix winner).

Mini Micron is back in the humble student ghetto to deliver another non-pretentious, fun loving, FREE shins up for our loverly loverly fans and friends! And this month we are dragging in guests from far and wide to celebrate the fact we all love to party to mighty fine house and techno untill the wee hours of the morning in the company of proper sound people!

Habit Birmingham's resident trio SOUL SOCIETY are DJs Andy Price, Mat Jones and James Roberts, three guys who between them have over 20 years DJ experience of playing clubs like Sankeys, Turnmills and the Egg to Cream Ibiza and tours of Russia. They came together through a mutual love of real house music and for the last three years have built their underground house brand HABIT into one of Birmingham's best loved events, and that's exactly why we have got them down this month to join us at our mini little disco.

We also welcome the one and only Paulo who boasts an impressive two year 'Inside Sessions' residency with Ibiza's mighty In Bed With Space, and more recently can be found providing the likes of Gee Moore and the famous BORA BORA world tour with his distinctive underground groove, along with a whole array of some of the most acest parties out there including playing with Jo Mills in a 3,000 capacity open-air arena on a 7-day tour of Turkey! Despite being a proper a lucky bastard already and the rest of us being understandably jealous of his life, we are giving him the extra bonus of playing at Mini Micron this month as he is a rather sound chap.
