Well, I have seen soundgarden a few times but must admit it was many moons ago! Never did get round to seeing Metallica & always heard they were great live. Hmm they may tempt me Line up still seems a bit flat to me though compared to last year

If this is true ( and it seems very plausible) i ll be SO EXCITED ! Bring it on ! I would love to see all of those bands esp never having seen VH or AC/DC before.

Metallica are great live. thought it was wierd when i found out they get someone to do their effects pedals instead of doing it themselves

You could probably take solice in the fact this will probably be the last chance to see them before they go away for a few years to work on another album, or just take a break.

why? it's generating more hype for their announcment. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself till it's all confirmed, fair play acdc are a done deal but if van halen, soundgarden and metallica are all in the mix then this former indie kid turned grunger will be creaming himself and getting a ticket!

Oh and for anyone who hasn't seen them yet, there's a reason metallica are dubbed the metal band for people who don't like metal. Unbelieveable live, constantly keeping the setlist varied, words don't do them justice it's just something else.

I agree imagine if you have put on a festival and keeping thelineup quiet to build hype and if the leak is right then you are going to be pissed because the announcement you've got planned isnt going to be a big shock

the fact is less than 5% of the festivals attendees use forums so the announcement will be a total surprise for them so i don't think AC will be that pissed although i'd imagine he doesn't want it all over the networking sites.

I'm fairly sure Bullet will be in the first announcement as Kerrang said there would be a festival announcement in a couple of weeks concering them. That was a couple of weeks ago so I think they'll be announced.

If its those 6 bands to be announced and its actually been leaked as those 6....Andy Copping could easily change it around last minute to give us a wow effect, he wont like people stealing his thunder!
