dcunited
Hello all, It is my girlfriend's birthday on the Friday and, as I had to work to convince her to come, I would like her to have a birthday to remember (as if spending it at Glasto wasn't enough!) I was wondering if there any stalls etc which would sell a birthday cake, or any cake for that matter, at the festival. Any help would be much appreciated. dcunited
You're a star, thanks for that. I was contemplating carrying a cake with my luggage, getting squashed and soggy under my mess. Thanks.

westwardhoboy
Very often you will find kind people wandering through the crowds at stages, selling "cakes" Problem is you want her to have a weekend to remember?? Maybe it would be a good idea to take your own.
Fingle
Last year there was a lovely bakery stall near the acoustic tent and that sold really nice cakes, also cheesy bread which i am hoping to purchase again this year!

LusciousLucy
Maybe you could get chatting with one of the cake and tea stalls and see if they could ice some individual fairy cakes to spell out her name?

feefeetee
I reckon the Hurly Burly lot will make you something, they do delish cakes, you can probably order and pay for it in advance and pick it up when you get there They're usually in the circus/theatre area. Worth dropping them an email at least. http://www.thehurlyburly.co.uk

Greenish
check out http://malinkeys.com/ for a 'proper' restaurant experience for her birthday meal - i'm sure if you get in touch in advance they'll do a cake. the avalon cafe did the most delicious cakes last year. i also second the hurly burly cafe. nom nom nom nom
