Gorillaz?

I'd posted this in the V and Reading forums before but I noticed today that on IOW's twitter the only acts that have been added recently are acts that are confirmed to be playing IOW2010 and now Gorillaz.

Could they be the Sunday Headliner? would fit perfect with Pink subheadlining IMO.

Ok maybe I need to explain twitter a bit, if you have a twitter you can follow other peoples twitters to see what they have wrote.

I was looking through IOW's twitter earlier because I got it linked from another twitter account, cus I was adding people to follow.

Well when I went through IOW's all the lastest additions have been artists who they've announced to play this year, The Strokes, Jay Z, Mr Hudson, The Saturdays, Daisy Dares You, Pink, Paloma Faith etc

Then right at the top the newest artist added is Gorillaz. Theres no other new artists added on there other than those announced for IOW and Gorillaz

Could just be some weird coinicdence, or it could be they're playing and someone added them to the twitter account a bit early...

I heard a rumour that The Faces were headlining. Not sure how true it is.

Also Isleofwightfest on twitter is also following Paul McCartney and Katy Perry.

The IW have thrown curveballs into their lineup like this before - a couple of years ago they added U2 as friends on Myspace and set all the rumour mills going...
