who wants van halen to headline

just to see if any of you guys are huge van halen fans im a bit impartial myself i like a few of their songs but im not that mad about them like i am with ac/dc,metallica etc.

yes and no. I'd rather VH than say Saxon or Scorpions. we are obviously going to have a classic rock day like last year, and if its a toss up between VH and scorpions - its no contest for me.

Of all the rumoured headliners they're the only one I don't want. No.

If they do headline I'm hoping for someone good on the second stage. Though I suspect it will be BFMV.

Was discussing this with mates last night. None of us are big VH fans but they're live shows are meant to be quality. Personally I think BFMV will headline 2nd against AC/DC. If that's the case I'd be happy, purely because when I saw Bullet at Leeds in 08' they were dreadful & I've not heard anyone say different regarding their last DL performance or their set at Soni last year.

I'd hope someone like Rise Against/Machine Head/Stone Sour might headline 2nd again VH. I'd be tempted to catch a bit of both (actually I'd watch all of Stone Sour).

There's a lot of talk about Scorpions on the DL forum. How big are they? I'd always considered them to be a bit of a one hit wonder who still had quite a loyal fanbase as opposed to having crossover/casual fan appeal (which is a must have to play top 3 spots mainstage IMO). Are their hoards of Scorpions fans out there?
