andydee
I genuinely don't want to see them live. I don't like their music and tbh, I think a guy in his 60s prancing around in a school boy uniform is (to put it lightly) too weird. I won't put me off going but, I certainly wouldn't see them play. If I go to download, I won't be watching them. I'll be down at the second stage are at the bar. I don't care how legendary they are. I don't want to see a stage show, I want to see (in my own opinion) a good performance. This includes good music, good quality of playing and then the stage show. Like I saw Tool in 2006 and was heavily unimpressed. My friend told me I had to see them... I could've missed them and wouldn't have cared. So, yeah. Maybe I'm hard to please, I don't know but, y'know. Not interested in seeing AC/DC at all.
tweemo freak
Where does the logic that AC/DC fans only like ac/dc come from? They aren't a different species you know. In our group there are 5 of us, all pushing 40, and every single one of us is dead keen on 7 of the nine bands announced so far.

Old Mosher
Thats a great vid, Ive got the DVD of that gig, and its f**king ace. Such a shame Bon wasnt around for it! BJ is a great frontman, but I always have that "if only" thought about Bon creeping up on me!
Budweiser
NO THIS IS NOT AN I HATE AC/DC AND NEVER WANTED THEM TO PLAY!!! THREAD... Does anybody get a feeling of not wanting to go because, the atmosphere from Weds to the day they headline could suck? I mean there's gonna be a lot of AC/DC fans there to see only them... I was thinking about this a lot and it kinda made me think about not going... just don't know. Not saying that all punters are going to be 'boring old OOFAs' but, I don't know... Anyone else thinking the same?
t8yman
Me too, completely agree. BJ is ok, but just doesn't have that "something" that Bon had, but then no point in living in the past eh. Still looking forward to seeing them. I had tickets for the O2 gig, but couldn't make it so had to sell them

Shinny
I will say. I won't be seeing them, for no reason other than, I don't like them. Never have, never will. Tom and they boys can go and I'll see whoever is second stage (still praying for someone awesome like NFG or BFS)

Shinny
Paramore are/were heavily rumoured to be second stage headliners to clash with AC/DC. I think if you watched them you'd change your mind about them though.
