just looked at getting tickets for the classic rock high voltage festival in victoria park.for those of you who arnt classic rock readers, the magazine have been championing the case for the fans who feel that booking fees are overpriced and the fact that fans are annoyed at what they feel are 'hidden costs'.

very gallant of them you might think,a major magazine on the side of the fans, makes you feel like they are one of us.but this of course posed a major problem for classic rock as they organised their own festival but, true to their word, the advert went out with a 'no booking fee' notice on it and their integrity seemed intact.

but as i attempted to purchase tickets today i found that there is a £5.20 'processing fee'.this is apparantly to pay for wristbands and postage(you'd have thought they would have realised that people would need wristbands and their tickets posting out when they priced up the festival)

so there we have it,no hidden £5.20 booking fee for the classic rock(magazine for the people) festival, just a hidden £5.20 processing fee.ha ha.
