Good tent websites?

A good tent review website is: ukcampsite.co.uk - it has a section on tent review. I find towsure is a good shop to go to as they are all up and pitched so you can have a good look around, then I check the reviews and then get one off ebay!

I've got 2 sunncamp ones, and both been really good tents in ALL kinds of festival weather!

Hope this helps

As someone else mentioned the UK Campsite website is an excellent source for tent reviews. Others that are good are Buachaille, and Outdoors Magic (both also have reviews of every other outdoor thing you could think of).

I ended up going for a Vango Omega 350, pretty much based on the reviews I'd read as well as size to weight ratio - 3 person and under 5Kg so fits in my backpack; 1 bedroom and 1 reception room so plenty of room for any bits, bobs, and muddy stuff. Got it from Complete Outdoors I found them really helpful and patient in answering some of my stupid questions!

Hi,

just wondering, is there any option where I could rent a good affordable tent instead of purchasing it?

I'll be travelling from south east asia and would rather not have to lug a tent and stuff through check-ins; especially with the baggage limitations etc

both millets and joe bananas have stalls on site, and in previous years you have been able to order camping gear in advance, to collect on your arrival at the festival. definately cheaper than hiring, and as the poster above says, you can donate it to charity afterwards.

Hi guys. I'm also looking for a new tent this year. Ideally I want one that you can stand up in and has plenty of room for 2 people and for not too much money! I've found this tent Does anybody have one? or used one before? My only concern is the lack of porch. Any views/advice welcome :P

Hmm, don't think that link works? Try this: http://www.outdoorvalue.co.uk/products/cam...person-tent.php
