Can only speak for myself, but for me a lineup which has Soulwax/2ManyDJs, Sac & Pip and Hadouken is gonna make me happy.

I've only been to Rockness twice before, and saw Soulwax both times, but I can't tire of them so I'm never gonna complain that the festival is becoming "Soulwax in a field". I f**king WANT Soulwax in a field! I now see Rockness as my annual pilgimage to Belgians who make sonic walls of noise, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Boys Noize, Bookashade, Vitalic, Soulwax, Leftfield, DAN LE SAC VS SCROOBIUS PIP, Club 75

If i could see all these acts (no clashes) it would be amazing line up for me.

Also got super early bird for 100 bucks.

Ace!

Good line up. (Get in Erol Alkan again as his set was amazing last year.) Jazzie B was brilliant too,

I would hardly call them lousy!!! Bearing in mind the festival has been done only 4 times and moving onto a fifth, successful one. During a recession I might add, where other festivals have had to sit back till we are out of it, Connect for example and they had the Beastie Boys and Bjork in its first couple years FFS. Rockness is firmly planted on the festival map as one of the big boys now and I honestly think that all the acts who have played Rockness before e.g. Soulwax/2ManyDJ's are ASKING to come back here to play for 1. help Jim King make Rockness a monster (excuse the pun) festival and 2. because they fu*king love it!!

They are adding so called 'lousy' bands because they want to reach out to a particular group without getting in over their heads and that is an outstanding business tactic from Jim King.

Long live Rockness!!!
