yeah...the waspi women thing shows the bullshit of saying stuff in opposition for political reasons and then doing the opposite when in actual power for practical reasons. Still...it wasn't in the 24 manifesto so they haven't broken any pledges and 10billion is a lot at the moment, but now another bunch of people who hate this government, and never f**k with pensioners. -
what have I done? this week conformed places to my volunteer team and confirmed their shift rota and organised the traditional tuesday night cocktail party Martinis, Margaritas and bloody marys -

Yep. Every now and then I have a thought along the lines of so much of the work done at these sometimes huge events is done by well meaning (but, let's be honest, not always that well meaning), pretty minimally trained volunteers. The crowd management stuff could be interesting
