Traffic

Mental, only done it once and they tell you to get in lane for the A5 early for a reason, so many people trying to slow down with an indicator on and they are stuck in the middle lane.

It's one of the reasons I don't drive up the M6 to V anymore - nothing like seeing a Volvo trying to squeeze into the lane you're in (as instructed), because a truck is about to nail it if he stays in the middle lane - and nobody has moved in last 10 mins so your bumper to bumper...

That was around 8:30 too.

Take my advice go early and make sure you're in the correct lane!

You could try staying on the M6 and coming off at M54. Don't take the Weston Park turn off (junction 3) but again carry on to the next junction (can't remember what it's signposted but I think it's Telford East). Turn north (right as it were from the motorway) and carry on to join the A5 and turn right on to that. This road leads direct to Weston park and there is no traffic jam!

I'm not sure if you will get past the traffic jams on the M6 ok but believe me the bit from Telford East works as I come from Shrewsbury every year and sail through on the A5 from junction 4!

Good luck!
