What a boring qualifying session... Size of the track to blame probably...

Vettel and Red Bull look hot... Ferrari look as good as we thought they would be and they should be even better on Sunday...

McLaren look like they will be coming to the party maybe in a couple of races time...

Looks like its going to take a while before Schumacher joins the party...

Prediction for Sunday...

Alonso

Massa

Vettel

Hamilton

i expect the race to throw up a few suprises with different rates of wear on tires from driver to driver and team to team... wouldnt be suprised to see someone from outside the top ten claim a podium, purely because of the advantage of being able to choose your tires for the race and having brand new ones

Agree with the comments regarding it being a dull race...

Looks like the Ferraris have the full package... Red Bull clearly have reliability issues to work out... Both drivers had issues... Looks like McLaren have reasonable race car as well..

Could be a four way fight this year...

By removing the refuelling they've removed a huge aspect of strategies, one of the things that makes formula one so good. It may reward the better driver but by removing that they're decreased the chance of variability in the result.

Or possibly - and older boarders might appreciate this - introduce a "joker" system, whereby during a nominated oppossing team's pitstop you can wear huge clown feet and run down the pit lane throwing wet sponges at the aforementioned nominated pit-crew.

First off, I'm going to say that I'm glad refuelling has gone. Supposedly it made the racing 'exciting' - it really didn't. I want to see the cars going as fast as they can for 200 miles, not for 60, then 80, the another 60, and hoping that they can time it right so they don't get stuck behind someone while their competitor does. But then I started watching in the pre-refuelling era, so maybe that's just how I like it. (I also miss seeing the sparks fly when the cars bottomed out)

Sort out the aerodynamics, its the only way to go. They've gone on about dirty air etc for years and years and years. Fix it. Slipstreaming, make it happen. Mechanical grip, not aerodynamic grip.

Final point; what is the one thing guaranteed to make a race interesting? Rain. And preferably on-off rain at that. So have all the races in places where it rains a lot. Simple!

After the first lap, possibly the first corner, it's going to be a precession this year. Removing refueling is going to create even less opportunity for overtaking. The only thing to keep hoping for is a battle at the back of the pack.
