Alcatraz
Real shame for Button today, Vettel and Alonso looked out of their depth, Hamilton looks like a title contender again. Webber drove well apart from that start. Quite an enjoyable race all in all. First time this year that I've been impressed by Michael Schumacher. Mcscotty
Definitely one of the more enjoyable races. The Mclaren looks more than capable of winning a drivers championship at the moment
OneLittleFish
I'd really love to see Mark Webber win this years title. Been considerably the better driver in his team throughout the year, and he seems like a top bloke.

OneLittleFish
Totally - I'd love to see Hamilton win it as well. He's taken a big step forward this year, where in the past he'd have pushed the McLaren too hard and lost his cool, he's been picking up solid points at the tracks where McLaren haven't been strong and found himself in contention despite not having the quickest car. I don't think Alonso or Vettel would deserve the title this year - too many mistakes between them, and although Button's exceeded expectations, he's too reliant on a car that's handling exactly to his liking. Kowalski
Made a nice change to see a successful Scottish driver appear in the build up to today's qualifying!
Kowalski
Wasn't a brilliant race today but its getting very interesting at the top of the standings.
OneLittleFish
Good strategy for a team behind in the championship - take out Hamilton, and take off half of Buttons rear wing.
sifi
Hamilton was to blame for going off. I thought he'd grown out of such rashness, but it's still there. Excellent performance by JB and the boys in red. All back in the mix now! Edited September 12, 2010 by sifimaster
OneLittleFish
Right: so - on the spot - who's going to be world champion? As much as I dislike him, I'm saying Alonso. Ferrari and him are on form right now and the upcoming tracks won't suit McLaren too much.

Kowalski
I still think Webber is the favourite. I think Hamilton and (especially) Button will find it tough going now, but there's still 5 races which is an awful lot of points. Kowalski
It's certainly shaping up to be one hell of a finish to the season. It seems to be between Alonso and Webber now.

OneLittleFish
I think that the engine situation for Alonso will catch up with him. If the Korean GP doesn't go ahead, then it's three races left with five drivers still within 25pts of each other. If I was running McLaren, I'd be tempted to put all the weight behind Button - Hamilton seems to be losing his composure. Similarly I'd be throwing all the weight behind Webber - Alonso's on a charge and got Massa in support. sifi
Hugely impressive drive from Alonso yesterday, totally soaked up all the pressute that was thrown at him. Didn't expect Webber to recover from the strategy he was on. Solid race as ever from Button. Hamilton was unlucky, I think Webber should have yielded to be honest. Although he'd probably argue differently, and it certainly worked out for him. I wouldn't discount McLaren just yet, they always said that Singapore was probably the weakest race of those remaining. I appluad McLaren and Red Bull in supporting both their drivers equally until it becomes mathematically impossible for one of their drivers to win the title. sifi
And of course the big story about the changes in line up next year .... Charlie Cox to replace Legard? I quite like Legard, but he still seems to be commentating as if he's on the radio and not the box.

sifi
That's the rumours that are doing the rounds. Been flying around for the last two weeks or so, actually. I love Charlie Cox, he's got that kind of unbridled enthusiasm in the style of Murray, and has a few Murray type catchphrases too. Apparently Brundle isn't happy with Legard, and he calls the shots apparently.
